Mount Zion Baptist Christian Elementary School
God has entrusted parents and the church with the task of loving, teaching, training, and controlling the children by His principles and instructions. God’s princip1es and instructions for raising and training our children are different from the world’s way of raising children. Mount Zion Baptist Christian School exists to assist parents in carrying out God instruction for raising and teaching children.
The Elementary School Years
It is during the elementary school years that students must receive a strong foundation of basic academic skills that will set the base for all future learning and training. Elementary students are curious, energetic learners that are moving through their young childhood years.
Elementary School Student
It is critical to the academic and emotional development of elementary students that they experience an environment that is academically stimulating that will promote healthy spiritual and emotional growth. These young students need to know that they can learn and that they are liked and wanted. Our classroom settings are very structured and the needs of students are met. The success of a student often rest on his or her ability to cooperate. There are many opportunities for students to participate in activities that allow freedom and creativity. Mount Zion has expectations, standards and policies that will help prepare students for a disciplined, successful future. It is our belief that students in a private, Christian school should stand out for their knowledge, goals, behavior, dress and faith in God.
